Uncle Shug's

Built on decades of tradition, Uncle Shug’s has become a staple of Southern comfort food in Statesboro. Originally reopened in 1996 by Stacy Underwood, continuing a legacy started by his father, the brand has grown from a single chicken spot into a family of restaurants known for its “good as grandma’s” cooking and made-from-scratch meals. This project focused on extending the brand into product packaging through the design of a line of sauce bottle labels. The goal was to create packaging that felt true to the restaurant’s heritage while standing out in a retail setting.
